North Prospect Home Owners

It should be blatantly obvious now to homeowners especially in Woodhey Road that Plymouth Community Homes are completely incompetant when it comes to recognising the need for timely and early release of information to do with purchasing of properties. With only 8 months to go before their homes are expected to be built over homeowners STILL have had no offers for their homes only excuses and delays.

Homeowners should demand to know what options they are to be offered NOW not later. The property market is not slow once it gets wind of people desperate for low cost housing to replace the homes they are about to give up the local housing market will probably increase prices - supply and demand, cheaper houses will be hard to find and cost more.

Homeowners in the NEW DARK BLUE AREA should be particularly worried as more than likely your areas will be phase 4 and 5 of this plan and your homes will be next under the bulldozer.

Homeowners should rack up the pressure on Plymouth Community Homes to formalise their offers in WRITING and do so in a timely manner and not in the 11th hour as is the case currently in Woodhey.

Keep records of conversations and where ever possible communicate by letter and not telephone, this way replies are in black and white and cannot be revoked at a leter date.

Plymouth Community Homes knows that at the end of the day it can just Compulsory Purchase the property it wants because it has this ability does not give it the RIGHT to ignore the concerns of home owners and be contemptuous towards them, as they currently appear to be.

HOMEOWNERS in order to know what to expect you need to get your own home valued by an estate agent/valuer you need to do that yourselves. You can then use that valuation to compare against whatever Plymouth Community Homes offers you in future. We all think our homes are worth more than they might be are so find out the truth now and be prepared when the time comes to negotiate for your home.
